Community Partners of Alabama (COPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities and expanding opportunities for local youth and families. Founded in February 2000 by Minister Earl S. Wagner, COPA was born from a simple yet powerful act of generosity. With an initial donation of five hundred dollars from a church member recovering from serious injuries and her request to “do good work for those in need”. COPA was then established to serve people where support and opportunity were most needed.
